Week
Without
Driving
What will your week reveal?
An educational campaign built on reflection and understanding. For one week, decision makers and residents experience the Valley the way roughly one in three Americans who don't drive experience it every day.
Experience our streets the way non-drivers do
Week Without Driving is a national campaign that challenges elected officials, planners, and everyday residents to get around without driving themselves, whether by choice or necessity. Urban Phoenix Project and our partners bring it home to the Valley. Walk, roll, ride, or leave the car behind a few times this week, and you help build a more inclusive, accessible, people-first transportation system.
It's to build empathy, spot gaps, and raise your voice for safer, more connected, and more dignified ways to get around without a car.
Four ways to take part
Try it for the full week or for a few trips. Every trip you make without driving tells us something.
